The team shommok has been working in social and humanitarian activities as well as religious events and Participate & arranged buddhism festival in peace processions on the occasion of Buddha Purnima every year, hoisting of fanus on the occasion of Prabarana Purnima. 

In addition, at the beginning of the new year, the world organizes the lighting of the mangal lamp, giving the annual calendar, and organizing the sanghadan for the sake of peace.

The team shommok celebrates the International Mother Language Day and the painting competition with children and teenagers to celebrate the great Independence Day.

In 2021, a painting and quiz competition was organized with more than 100 students to celebrate mujib centenary

If there is any unjust injustice organized against the Buddhist nation, the team shommok is the first to join the streets. In Bangladesh, there have been some incidents against the organized Buddhist nation, such as the organized incident in Ramu of Cox’s Bazar, many Buddhist monasteries have been burnt, in protest of this, the members of the shommok took part in human chains and processions.

In 2019, the team shommok participated in a human chain and procession in protest against the murder of Amritananda Bhikkhu.

The team shommok is working to reach the light of education among the disadvantaged and underprivileged children and adolescents.

We believe that we are determined to spread a little bit of education among the neglected people in the society, not just confined to religious activities.
Every year educational materials are distributed at any orphanage, school or individual level at the initiative of team shommok.

Through the project on distribution education materials, we have so far distributed education materials among 700 students.

so far, education materials have been provided in various institutions including sujata orphanage in khagrachari, upolobdhi women orphanage,ranguniwa ishakhali orphanage, such as many school & organization.

team shommok organizes a scholarship program every year on the basis of merit from the meritorious and disadvantaged students of the society. 

This program has existed since the establishment of shommok, at present this scholarship giving ceremony and examination is held every year in team shommok Chittagong Metropolitan, Rangunia and Raozan branches. 

In 2015, 2016, 2017, Chittagong Metropolitan, 2018, 2019, Rangunia in 2022 and Raozan in 2021, scholarship giving ceremony was organized. 

So far, scholarships have been awarded to more than 100 plus students.
